Does anyone remember when 'the customer was always right'?
I read a post on Facebook linking two comments.
The first: "Why does Denmark consistently rank among the happiest countries despite having some of the highest taxes in the world?"
The second: "You guys are obsessed with the tax rate, but you ignore the Life Rate. If you add up your taxes+health insurance+co pays+tuition+daycare+retirement savings you are paying way more than we are. We just pay one bill and get everything included. You are paying five different bills and getting nothing. We aren't socialists; we're just better at accounting."
That Danish argument cuts straight across the rhetoric that has dominated UK politics since the Thatcher era.
